{"id":7431,"date":"2021-04-09T10:27:46","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T08:27:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kreatortest.com\/fizika\/?page_id=7431"},"modified":"2024-02-19T09:44:55","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T08:44:55","slug":"second-cycle-of-studies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.unsa.ba\/eng\/second-cycle-of-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"Second Cycle of Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the second cycle of study at the Department of Physics, students can enroll in one of the following three study programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.unsa.ba\/eng\/physics-education-120-ects\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Physics Education (two years, four semesters, 120 ECTS credits)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.unsa.ba\/eng\/second-cycle-of-studies\/second-physics-education\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Physics Education (one year, two semesters, 60 ECTS credits)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fizika.pmf.unsa.ba\/eng\/second-cycle-of-studies\/second-physics\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Physics (one year, two semesters, 60 ECTS credits)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Within all of the aforementioned study programs, teaching consists of lectures, tutorials, and practical exercises, including laboratory work.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;PHYSICS EDUCATION &#8211; 120 ECTS&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text]Students who have completed the first cycle of a three-year physics study program can enroll in the second cycle of study in the Physics Education program, which lasts for two years. Upon successful defense of the final thesis, students obtain the academic title Master of Physics Education. By choosing from three categories of elective courses, the students may deepen their knowledge in one of the following areas of physics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theoretical Physics<\/li>\n<li>Experimental Physics<\/li>\n<li>Medical radiation physics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon defense of the master\u2019s thesis the students are awarded a Master of Physics degree.
