In the first cycle of study at the Department of Physics, students can enroll in one of the following four study programs:
- Physics Education (three years, six semesters, 180 ECTS credits)
- Physics and Informatics Education (three years, six semesters, 180 ECTS credits)
- Physics Education (four years, eight semesters, 240 ECTS credits)
- Physics (four years, eight semesters, 240 ECTS credits)
Within all of the aforementioned study programs, the teaching consists of lectures, tutorials, and practical exercises, including laboratory work and teaching practice.
PHYSICS EDUCATION - 180 ECTS
The study lasts for 3 years (6 semesters). Upon graduation, students acquire the title Bachelor of Physics Education. The diploma holder is primarily qualified to work as a physics teacher in lower secondary schools.

PHYSICS - 240 ECTS
The study lasts for four years (eight semesters). Starting from the third year, the students are provided the opportunity to choose between three categories of elective courses, for purposes of deepening their knowledge in one of the following areas of physics:
- Theoretical Physics
- Experimental Physics
- Medical radiation physics
Upon completion of the study program, the students are awarded a Bachelor of Physics degree. A more detailed description of the curriculum is provided at the following link:
